Hi Marcin, Thanks for all your excellent research and sharing of info, it has been a great help in developing a sniffer that I have been using in my (sorry) 2005 Prius. I have been looking around here and on priuschat for more detailed info but have come up with only more questions.

If anyone has a moment to answer it wouls be appreciated...

I was wondering if someone could post a recorded example of the conversation between the MFD and NAVI.

My goal is to register a camera and have access to the video (and later audio) inputs on the MFD to allow installation of an aftermarket backup cam. I have a unit to convert the video to RGBS, I just need to get my sniffer to register and allow the MFD to switch on (and maintain) the video input, I am guessing that registering as NAVI is the best way to do this but now I see from the above posts that possibly other units could potentially support a camera logical device.

Any clarification on this would be welcome. Perhaps someone can point to a short tutorial/flow chart or better description of command codes? I have figured some out (thanks to many others here) but there are a lot that don't seem to be documented.

I have a test MFD setup on my bench that I have been working with, do I need anything else to get this working / do I need an AHU or can I do it with just the MFD?

Thanks,
Ken
